Customs Clearance means it's at the Customs of the UK, you can enter your tracking code at 17track.net and look what courier takes care of your package at the destination thing, if you know which one it is, call them and ask them why it's at customs. I don't live in the UK but in belgium they will ask you to mail them the invoice or something similar of the 980 to proof it's value. After that it might take a couple of days before it's cleared and continues it's journey to you. Oh yea, be prepared to pay the courier when he delivers the 980. You probably need to pay taxes for it and some other things, unless you already did that when you bought it of course.

If you want my attention, quote meh! D: or just stick an @samcool55 in your post :3

I seriously fucking hope not because that is the only reason I bought this card (cheap)

It's probably getting properly checked at customs. Since it's an import, get ready to pay for any possible customs charges, along with VAT and such.

Fuck I really can't afford to do that!

What happens if I can't afford it?

SNIP

Seems like it double updated by accident and this site has updated faster than the USPS site and so it could hopefully be sent out tomorrow. I swear to god if I have to pay import charges I am fucked.

Where I'm from, they generally charge $10 for the Custom's check, and then VAT is around 20% here. Which is counted from the value of the item. So say I were buying an $500 item, then I would have to pay another $100 in VAT.

Though, if it was sent as a gift, or valued much lower. Then you might get away without having to pay the VAT.

Let's hope the guy I bought it from knows what he's doing and sent it as a gift or declared the value lower :P

If theres VAT and such you have to pay it while you pick up the package, if you cant pay it, you cant get your package.

So how long do I have to get the package and will it be sent back after a certain amount of time?

I think that they will hold the item for up to two weeks or something. Gotta pay, else they wont return the item to you.

If you're not someone who have ever imported anything outside of the EU before, then stuff like this often comes as a shock the first time around.

I imported my Sennheiser IE80's back when I got them. They were sold cheap over at NCIX earlier, but VAT and shipping made it cost almost as much as if I would have gotten it in a store here.
