Okay so there seems to be a TON of bugs and performance issues with win 10. Seeing as its been almost 5 days sense it's launch have most of the glaring bugs been squashed? I'm still on win 7 64bit but intend to upgrade as soon as win 10 actually functions and is gtg for gaming.

I haven't had any issues with gaming, other than having to re-install video drivers.

I haven't had any issues with Win10.

If anything it's better (Nvidia drivers are better now), not sure about AMD.

I had 2 minor issues when installing, both of which were my fault, and only happened because I didn't read something that was changed/ didn't install drivers before updating Windows.

Personally I'd wait a while, the VGA drivers haven't matured yet, some games(like GTA V) require files that just aren't present on W10, and there are some general glitches with W10 that could wreck a gaming session.

Windows isn't the issue, its the drivers. AMD drivers seem stable on 10, but I heard Nvidia is having problems with theirs.

I'd wait a decent month for microsoft to make use of their crowd sourced beta testing for it to really be ready for gaming since they fired their testing employees (cough cough barnacules)

For me GTA V is the only problem. It is very buggy. I didn't get more than 40 fps before on win7 but now it's even worse...

Same as all new OS major releases... wait at least 4-6 months for them to work out any bugs / exploits / compatibility issues...

There is no huge reasons to get it till there is a DX12 game you want available anyway.

I don't want to wait to long and lose the free upgrade=( do you think it will be good to go by the time the free offer ends?

You better hurry up because you only have a year to take up the free upgrade offer. Don't blink or you'll miss it.
