Hello, all. 

I'm a new addition to the Linus master race. And I must say I haven't been very active since I signed up and I thought I should make an introduction.

 

So, I'm Sid as my forum name states, I'm currently 14 years old and I am indeed looking for a potential career opportunity within a few company's related to Technology and gaming.

Welcome to the community eh!? :)

 

Well? Of course a good way to start is tinkering with PC's and you're doing that which is good. Nowadays? The basic entry into a computer technician job? You'll need CompTIA A+ Certification.

It's much like saying "I have a pretty good theory on how a computer works and how to try and fix it." Experience of course comes with tinkering... and Google. Google is a computer technician's best friend. So many issues you'll find work-arounds with Google as some other technician has probably posted about it. ;)

I'm looking into doing a degree within Computer Programming and possibly moving on-wards towards a PhD.

Just one more word of advice... just like any corner of the internet? Debates can get crazy here too heh, just don't let any AMD Vs NVIDIA, XBOne Vs PS4 or such debates get personal. :P

This is surprisingly a really darn good forum yeah. I've been on The Maw (Halo 1 PC Bungie forums), Pure Pwnage forums a long time ago, Angry Video Game Army and now LTT. So far? This one's been the most peaceful overall. :)
