Do these parts work good together?

I am sorry if this is in the wrong sections as i am new to the forums. I am building a PC for around $700 and i have done quite a bit of research in finding the best components. Im not worried about the power supply, case, fans or HDD yet, i am just concerned about these parts.

CPU- CPU: AMD FX-8350 http://www.ncix.com/detail/amd-fx-83...76932-1338.htm

GPU- EVGA GeForce GTX 960 Superclocked ACX 2.0+ 2GB GDDR5 (02G-P4-2966-KR)

- 1279Mhz Clock, 7010Mhz Memory
- PCI Express 3.0, Dual-Link DVI, HDMI, 3x Display Port

http://www.canadacomputers.com/produ...item_id=080466

Motherboard: Motherboard: Item Code: MBAR000410 Part Number: 970 EXTREME3 R2.0

ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 Socket AM3+ AMD970FX+SB950 Chipset
- Dual Channel DDR3 2100(O.C.) MHz, 2x PCI-Express x16
- GLAN, 5x SATA 6.0Gb/s, 1x eSATA 6.0Gb/s, 2x USB 3.0, 4x USB 2.0
- ATX

** i can get this motherboard for $75, is it worth it?***

RAM:  Kingston Hyperxfury Memory White 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-1600 CL10 Dual Channel Memory Kit

I play games such as GMOD, TF2, blackops 2, battlefield 4, and i want to start playing games like rust and ARK. Will this get me a high frame count on high settings? Have any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Get an i5 with the MSI H97 PC Mate, and the rest of the specs would be nice :)

I recommend getting an i5 4460 with a H97 board over the FX-8350 the socket that it uses is out dated and dead.

Why an H97? An H81 or B85 should do the job.

I know they do the job but H97 is a newer chip and has more features.

AMD's high-end CPUs are old now and aren't good enough for a high-end PC. That is also why they are so cheap.

Go with an i5-4690k and a H97 or Z97.

CPU: Intel i5 4690k @ 4.3 GHz       GPU: MSI GTX 980                      Cooling: be quiet! Pure Rock                     OS: Windows 7            Monitor: BenQ XL2411Z

Motherboard: AsRock Z97 PRO4   PSU: Corsair 600W CX600M       Keyboard: Razer BlackWidow Ultimate   SSD: Intel 120GB 520   Headset: HyperX Cloud II

RAM: 12GB Crucial Ballistix            Case: Corsair 750D                       Mouse: Logitech G502                         HDD: Seagate 1TB        Speakers: Audioengine A5+

That CPU is almost half my budget for the entire PC, I am not really that picky in terms of performance but i would like somewhere around 80 frames on high and medium mix settings on games.

The ram is a bit high latency for just 1600 mhz, but it's not terrible ram, for that price, jump on it. The latency shouldn't have much impact on gaming.

Your cpu choice will come back to bite you in the ass though. It is a dead platform, with inconsistent performance, often around an i3 in terms of gaming performance. The worst part is, there is nothing better on that socket so an upgrade would have to include another motherboard.

I highly suggest you grab an i5 4460 and n h97 mobo, or a b85 mobo, but that does have a risk of not being compatible with the cpu out of the box

My rig:
CPU: i5 4690k 24/7 @4.4ghz (1.165v) Max 4.7ghz (1.325v) COOLER: NZXT Kraken X61 MOBO: Asus Z97-A   RAM: 16GB Crucial Ballistix Tactical   GPU: EVGA GTX 970 SSC   PSU: EVGA GS 650W   CASE: NZXT Phantom 530 HDD: WD Caviar Blue 1TB + WD Black 2TB

It will work fine but I advice you to make sure your motherboard has a good VRM! :D

(for battlefield a 380 will be better because Mantle but the other games I am not sure what they prefer check some benchmarks!)

Edit:

BTW R9 380 is a stronger card!
