Sudden keyboard lag on htc one m8

Today, I was with my girlfriend and she was sitting on my lap, leaning with her legs on pocket where my phone is(so not too much pressure or anything), and afther that I've been experiencing keyboard lag on my htc one m8, but only while in my messaging app.. could this be by the pressure of her legs and be hardware-related or would this be software-related and just a coincidence? I had zero problems typing this with my phone but can't write 2 words in messaging app without input lag..

If it was hardware damage I think it could be seen in everything you do.
If it is only your messaging app, then it's probably the app.

You've gotten a virus, I've had it, backup what you need and reset your phone, already looked into fixing this and I couldn't.

You've gotten a virus, I've had it, backup what you need and reset your phone, already looked into fixing this and I couldn't.

Must be all the porn.. scanned with clean master and had no problems tho..

Thats what I think, but i haven't had updates for the app since lollipop I think, then why suddenly start lagging..

Right its either Lollipop or Clean Master, I had both and my lagging started after it, I have a feeling it might be Lollipop after resetting my phone it made the stock reset to Lollipop and stopped the lag, I have clean master installed and it still doesn't lag.

Right its either Lollipop or Clean Master, I had both and my lagging started after it, I have a feeling it might be Lollipop after resetting my phone it made the stock reset to Lollipop and stopped the lag, I have clean master installed and it still doesn't lag.

Hmm maybe.. I'll reset it tomorrow and I'll get back to this topic to either thank you or tell you it didn't work.. but weird that this suddenly starts now, lollipop and cleaner master have been on my phone for ages now..

Okay, I'll try, wouldn't be bad to reset this phone actually.. way too many stuff in the storage :P but it's 11:30 pm over here so I won't do it today anymore.. I'll add you and will let you know if it fixes my problem :)

I've resetted my phone yesterday and up to now still haven't had problems anymore! Thank you! :D
