People were not interested as much in it anymore, so it is not worth it to the news broadcasting channels now. Doesnt make enough money.

It's still a thing

How did this topic get here, and by the way Ebola is still active and still a threat

Just not as big as it started though

It wasn't such a big threat in first world countries anyways, because proper sanitation and sewer system

It got dealt with ... It's not air-borne so it's pretty easy to contain ...

eh it's not 2014 anymore, TPTB/Media will find another thing going about to hype up and get people stirring over it, maybe the plague or something for this year or next year.

no offence intended, it seems to be part of a pattern, like the old

1980's: AIDS is going to kill us all

2004: Mad cow disease is gonna kill us all

2008-2009: Swine flu is going to kill us all

other than that i believe it's been kind of contained? but i stopped reading about it a while ago.

Yep-and the massive amounts of flying foxes that are responsible can't be killed because 'they are endangered' even when their massive population is increasing at an astronomical rate each year.

along with Lyssavirus makes them pretty lethal, since they can transfer both to humans.

Also their shit is destructive to any metal surface >_> little bastards.

Did you really have to post that image? You couldn't even put it into a spoiler?

That's disgusting to look at.

No I couldn't. If you find the ebola jokes even remotely funny you should see what the reality of it is.

Last thing I heard is Paul Allen threw a bunch of money at finding a cure. Pretty sure its still an issue, just the media cycled to the new topic of the now.

Still a thing, still as much of a problem.

People just aren't as interested in it anymore, to be honest, without sounding like a dick, i think it was almost a trend to care... It's always been a huge problem, however one increased outbreak and everyone is all of a sudden 'caring' about it; all over the news, then as soon as people stop giving a crap and getting on with their own lives, they just stop broadcasting about it.

Kinda sad really.
