If I recall correctly from other posts it was 100 points and your account is permanently banned.

I've had some pretty big flame wars in the past and never gotten a single warning point. You have to really try to get warning points to get warning points.

User bans are up to the mods, if they feel like you're a disruptive element they can and will ban you long before you hit 100 warning points. In addition the points may expire but they remain tied to your account along with the reason you got them. So the mods always know your history of infractions.

They leave after a while. I still have two now that I've had for a while. Idk how long it takes to drop off.
