These are the specs for the original build:

Pentium G3258

R7 260X

Sandisk 128gb ssd

CX 430m

Corsair Vengeance 8gbs

Asus Z97-C

I want to use a 4670k and a GTX 960 instead of the pentium and the 260x but I don't know if there will be enough power, I also want to overclock to 4.2GHz. Will my 430w PSU be enough to power the GTX 960 and the 4670k with all the other parts too?

Yes. Also why you want to pair i7 + GTX 960? You should go i5 + GTX 970 if it is for gaming.

budget? maybe?

Go with the i5 4690K if it is cheaper than the i5 4670K.

A 4670K is an i5.

follow your thread.

also, i always tell everyone to get a 600-750W so they don't have to buy another one after upgrades.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

This.

Actually, buy the best damn power supply you can afford in the 600-850 W range.  Yes, right now you will only be using half of it's capacity, but since it is a high quality one your efficiency will still be extemely good, and it will last you this entire build and probably your next two builds at least.

A good PSU is money well spent

Could you possibly answer the question?

yeah it's enough, but it isnt very much. it won't hold up if you put 8 drives and 16 fans in your rig.
