Wouldn't surprise me.  They probably had >$100,000 worth of ek merchandise on hand or hadn't paid there last invoice.

Not surprised. FCPU most likely had 100,000+ of EK hardware.

Wondering what happened as well, I read all kinds of stories about the owner destroying the store etc.

I doubt we'll ever know. I just wish this never happened in the first place. A enthusiast focused online retailer scratched off the list doesn't exactly do us any good.

he can call the hosting company and have it taken down

There's no excuse for this, he's doing it on purpose since there's probably some people still ordering stuff

why do companies discuss this over facebook

Maybe because they owe them a six figure sum? And clearly they are fed up of waiting through legal action and formal dealings, and decided to expose them on Facebook.

probably a LOT.

I like mnpctech, and it's a shame. I bet it hurt them financially.

That they would make something like that public i find a little strange, i would take it with a grain of salt :/

Or it means EKWB is very, very. very upset with them. And that they've probably tried taking it along private lines, but hasn't gotten the response they want. So they're trying now to get the public involved to get their money sooner.

I don't think much is happening. He is trying to sell off the stock. I don't think it will open ever again, even with new owner. The name is tarnished
