So I'm looking for a new mouse and am tied between the Razer Deathadder 2013 and the Logitech G400s. The only reasons I had second thoughts about the G400s was because the cable seems dodgy and cheap and have heard bad things happening to the cable itself. I've heard really good things about the DA 2013's sensor but heard some bad stuff about the original DA, such as double clicking issue and general bad build quality. Did the DA 2013 fix these problems? Also the DA 2013 is cheaper than the G400s

So not the G400s? Anyone know if the cable thing is still an issue for the G400s?

Get DA and not even think of getting a Logitech shitmouse

Oh you sound so very impartial.

I dunno if g400s has improved cable over g400. ask some g400s users or something. but if u have enough money to spend on g400s and then if it malfunctions get an da 2013 then do that lol

I bought the older purple Death Adder because I loved the way it felt. I then upgraded to the 2013 and love it. I love the texture it has and I already loved the size and overall shape. I haven't used the other mouse, but I have no complaints about the Death Adder. The cable is awesome too. I have two CM storm quickfire TK's (red and blue keys) and two Death Adders (purple and 2013) and the cable on the Death Adder's is awesome. It's well protected but not too stiff. The 2013 cable is a tiny bit stiffer (or maybe just feels that way, the purple is older) but the CM storm cables are way too stiff for my liking. If you've seen the CM storm cable or a cable that is nicely protected just too stiff, you know what I'm talking about.

I have the DA2013 and Storm Spawn. I love both.

Though I prefer to game with my Spawn lol. The 1.5mm liftoff on the DA2013 really helps me when I'm working on my pc. Unfortunately the Spawn has a much much higher liftoff but I can live with it after some getting used to. Great mice, hope to add a EC1 to my collection(similar 1.5mm liftoff like DA2013).

All in all, the DA2013 is a guaranteed,"not wrong" choice.

The Deathadder 2013 has a near flawless sensor. People may bring up build quality issues but I've never experienced any issues with Razer and nothing but issues with Logitech. The other mouse I would recommend is the g400 (Again because of a near flawless sensor) but side with the Razer because my subjective experiences have been better with Razer than Logitech.
