GBA games in Gamestop?

PapaGangster

Hey guys, so I'm going over to the US for a month (I'm aussie) and was wanting to know if Gamestop sells GBA games in store? I looked on the Gamestop site for US and according to it they do just wanted to double check since GBA games seem to be hard to come by where I am in Australia and plan to buy a bunch in the US. (Ebgames in australia don't sell GBA games)

The couple of GameStop stores near here have a small glass case where they have old GBA and DS games. You'd have to look around though.

Its hit or miss. some might, others they will be phased out, you would be better off looking up smaller non-chain game stores.

Since the 3DS cannot play GBA games, many stores have gotten rid of their stock of GBA games.

I very rarely see new GBA games in stores and pretty much never see 2nd hand ones at game stores.

I am from the Netherlands though, not the US.

Some GBA games can be quite expensive though..

I'm not sure what you best bet would be.. Probably some collectors shop, has some GBA games (often also bins of slightly worse GBA games, for like 2 bucks each).

Good luck with finding them!

Side note: You probably knew this already, but American GBA games should play just fine on an Australian GBA. I have an American GBA game which works just fine on my European GBA
