What do you do to support LinusTechTips?

Luc401

After hearing that 2000 of there 2200 viewers last night on twitch were using adblock including me i was like wow..I never thought there was that many people using it.....So i tonight and every night for the rest of the week i will run leave my computer on all night, disable adblock and let multiple tabs of mine on chrome run through Linus Media Group coverage of computex.

Any one else have a way to support these guys without directly paying them?

Thats not a bad idea actually, i'm probably going to start that but run a macro to skip through the videos in the playlist after the ads have finished.

Will Linus get revenue from us watching adds on his twitch page when the stream is offline? Just leave that running overnight.

I spend more then 12 hours going through a very large portion of all the member on the forum with no posts to look for profile feed spammers.

I reported roughly 100 spammers in 1 day time and the mods banned them all :P

apart from that, no addblocker for anything LTT, auto like, auto play vids on computers, reporting stuff to help the mods and just generally trying to help people as well as I can.

I disabled adblock on youtube and that's pretty much it. Leaving the computer on watching youtube videos is such a waste of energy and all they'll get for it is a few cents.

I have never used ad block, I like all of his vids and occasional I'll click the ads and spend a few clicks on there site to be sure it counts.  If that's all I have to do to ensure he can keep doing the vids then its not much of a cost.

Turn off my adblock for the forum and the Youtube videos, like all of the videos even if the things unboxed/reviewed don't interest me because it takes time and effort to make them, always recommend to a friend or anywhere else since both the videos and this forum are helpful and infomative and I tune in to the WAN show which supports them I guess.

I like every new video that comes out. Not just because it helps, but I really enjoy (most) of them.

Linus, you are very charismatic.

I watch all of his videos and like every single one of them :) I'd watch his YouTube ads but then i'd have to disable ad block for you tube entirely.

Then there's stream ads. They go for a full 30 seconds and you can't skip them, plus they play again if you have to refresh the page! You can literally miss important info on the stream by twitches horrid ads.

I disallow adblock on the forum so he gets money from the PAX Prime ad :)

Don't bother using AdBlock at all - it's what a lot of sites rely on for revenue for hosting and how most YouTubers make their money - it doesn't seem fair stealing from them. Aside from that I think it's pretty well known what I do..
