GOOGLE CHROME SUCKS

Google chrome always freezes my computer. not that I have a bad computer or anything it was recently built last week, works amazingly. only problem is chrome freezes it, I know its chrome because I used firefox instead and iit didnt occur the whole time I used it, go back to chrome and bam there it is again, I know I could keep on using firefox but I really dont like it, IE works fine also... anyone else have this issue? I googled it and apparently its to do with realtek driver but i tried there fix and didnt work.

also, theres millions of people using chrome just fine, i had some issues with chrome myself, but a clean reinstall resolved those every time.

chrome uses ram differently

so if chrome is freezing your pc

I would suspect you might have a ram problem

or hdd or something

Try reinstalling Chrome. 

 

You can try upping the priority in Windows Task Manager in Windows 8.

i mainly use safari, mainly because i get 12 hours or more of browsing on my macbook, using chrome i get about 5!!

Saying that Chrome sucks, just because it doesn't work on your PC, is kinda dumb.

Chrome does suck, but so does every other browser on Windows (ff, ie, chromium variants, opera, etc). I got fed up with Chrome recently because the new tab page changed and pages would randomly refresh (also happens on my laptop that I rarely use so it has to be chrome and not my setup). Currently using IE which is a tad slower but otherwise does the job.

 

Edit: Oh Adblock sucks on ie. Flash also sucks on IE because it uses less cpu and more gpu, but freezes every 10-20 seconds (at least for twitch.tv)
