Windows ordering my monitors the wrong way around

Hello there, on my Windows 7 Machine (3 Monitors) I have them setup in a triple surround display, the most common of course, anyway down to the point, in the windows Screen Resolution control panel, my monitors, instead of going 1-2-3 left to right, it goes 3 - 2 - 1 so when I put on a background to go across all 3 displays (5760x1080) The background is in the wrong order. Does anyone know a fix for this?

When you move your mouse or windows to the right does it go onto the right monitor or still the left?

Right click on desktop > Screen resolution. You should see your 3 monitors listed, You should be able to drag them in the order that you wish

The mouse moves across all the monitors as it should and functions completely fine. Ingame if I run on 3 Screens its fine also, its just for desktop backgrounds.

You can drag the displays around in the GUI I believe.

Right click your wallpaper

Press on "select resolution"

Press "identify"




Now you know which monitor is which.

Your software has No idea where the monitors are located on your desk, It only knows which ports you have connected them to.

If you're using 3 of the same monitors, have you tried just switching the cables of monitor 1 and 3? Wouldn't hurt to give it a try.

Now, the monitors are not listed how I want, I need it to go 3 - 2 - 1 BUT without dragging around in the gui as it will reposition the actual monitor, which means I have to move it on my desk as well, I just need to know if there is a way I can make it go 1 - 2 - 3 Without having to re-arrange and move my monitors on the desk.

Um click on monitor 1, and drag it to the left. Click on monitor 3, and drag it to the right.

Why?

You move the mouse to the left - It goes to the left monitor

You move the mouse to the right - it goes to the right monitor

What is it that doesnt work?

The number in the GUI is just a representation of which port the monitor is connected to.

If the display is showing what you want, then does it matter if it's identifying at 321, 132, 213,  or 123?
