And entertainment.

I like people like Byze and Markiplier because they make me laugh. Although Markiplier can get annoying when he names stuff

  • Original content.
  • Regular uploads.
  • Quality content. (Not 240p recordings from a laptop.)
  • Humor. (If the genre merits it.)
  • Entertaining topics / themes.
  • Relevant to my interests.
  • Relatable personalities.
  • Engagement with their audience.

That's pretty much the gist of it!

Just the fun and entertaining little bits. If a channel is no longer entertaining, if they become a sellout, they're videos lose quality or they become too different from when I subbed to them (in a bad way). *cough *cough KSI I'll unsub with no hesitation. He doesn't put any effort into his content. His videos mainly consist of challenges and sponsor nowadays. When was the last time he did a FIFA 15 video anyway.

24 fps for that "cinematic" feel

After a couple weeks of behavioral sciences at my school I can easily conclude my parents need to grow up.

Content and personality, you have to have a hell of a lot of one to get by without the other but the best channels have a good mix. I will say though if the channel is meant to be informative all the personality in the world wont save you if you keep getting things wrong (one of the reasons I couldn't stay subbed to Jayz for long in the early days) on the other hand if you are very informative I can give a pass on a wet bread personality.

Edit: and not yelling and over reacting at everything like a ten year old, I cant stand a lot of gaming channels for that reason.

I NEED MOAR.

I wonder what would happen if he did an entire review on the main channel in the wine rack?

Of course, interesting and original content, but the biggest thing for me is occasional uploads. I don't like when channels push out a video a day, or even sometimes more than that, because I don't have the time, nor the desire to watch all of that. Then I feel out of the loop and end up not watching the majority of their videos. I like something along the lines of a weekly schedule of quality uploads.

An equal mix of personality, high quality content (not just high definition, but the quality of pacing and/or editing), and how well they cater to my particular interests. Great content means diddly-squat if the person making it is really obnoxious or just straight up boring.
