I probably spend 8K on building above average builds for me and my friends/family and then use the other 30k on a car. But seriously I know a lot of people on here are computer enthusiast and will have the best computers they can but spending 38k on computer stuff is a huge waste.

Or a water cooled rig in a car, or in a tesla :P

You would still need a little bit more if you would want to buy a tesla :(

38K on a PC is way past the point of plateau-ing performance. But I would focus more on the perripherials like

-Corsair 750D - MSI Mpower Z77 - 3570k @ 4.21 -Corsair H60- 8GB Corsair Vengeance 2133 Mhz- Corsair RM850 - MSI 780 Lightning -256GB SSD- 2 1TB HDDs - LG 23' Flatron - Razer Death Adder - Ducky Shine 3 Cherry MX Blue - Logitech z506 5.1-

Project - Bloody Lightning

I would make several servers......then host minecraft on them and rent it out....I would be able to turn over a profit quite easily from 38000.......i would break even in 10 months and everything after that is pure profit.......i would essentially be making $45600 a year with what i have planned in my head....

I'm old school from when LAN parties were a big thing.  Are they still?  Seems like with the increase in Internet speeds it really doesn't matter if you are in the same room or not.  But yeah that is probably what I would at least start on is a LAN room.   10 or so high-end custom computers, at least a gig LAN, possibly an LCD projector.  Would be nice to have surround sound when I'm by myself and a nice headset for when we are all together.

Nothing beats a group of guys and gals getting together for a frag fest with some beer, wine coolers or Bawls if you prefer.
