Hey Guys,

I'm looking for some compressed air and was wondering if anyone knows of any that is pretty powerful because I've bought some off of eBay which was OK but just didn't have that much power behind it.

Anyone know of any brands that I could look for?

be careful with off the shelf air compressors. They might not have a moisture filter and you could be spraying small amounts of water onto your parts.

This too. Be sure to drain the tank and have a moisture filter.. Totally forgot about this.

I would rather buy something that is certified for use in PC's

But where is the fun in that?  you need 160psi at 1 inch distance.

Only 160? That's like, nothing at all. 9001 bruh, c'mon

pfffft. The Manly Way to clean anything is a power washer. Great for all the household cleaning chores. Gutters, dusting house plants, pets, EVERYTHING. It will even take care of those hard to remove metal tracings on the PCB's.

But if you want to wimp out, an air compressor will do.

A couple of things I should say, is if you do decide to go with a small air compressor:

If you are using a compressor with a tank, as others have said you need to drain the tank before each use and make sure you have a moisture filter.

Additionally, you want what is called an oilless compressor. Spraying a fine mist of oil all over your computer would be worse than a fine mist of water.

I thought it was the other way around, isn't oil non-conductive?

I don't think there is such thing as an air compressor made for PCs.... Canned air will do good for small areas you can't get to normally with an air compressor.

That's why you pressurize it and then open the little moisture drain valve at the bottom of the tank.

Canned air is what I meant, I should have made it more clear in the title.

A better investment than canned air. More powerful, and cheaper in the long run.

Because there's no shops around my town that sell it and I'm not travelling 20 miles just to get something I can buy online.

Why not just save money in the long run and get an air compressor?
