  1. They did do a video at Monolith Studios in 2017.
  2. It says it has a network interface, why not just use that?
  3. The RAM is overkill. That's almost double the price of a normal 16gb kit. Go for the the cheapest kit you can find, but if you're really keen on RGB modules Corsair do a simpler RGB kit https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/c7CD4D/corsair-vengeance-rgb-32gb-2-x-16gb-ddr4-3000-memory-cmr16gx4m2d3000c16
  4. Not sure if its this, but what is your ping like? Could be due to latency
  5. Yeah, you should be able to without any issues. It's basically just an extension cable with a couple of switches spliced in the middle
  6. I can vouch for the Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus (or v2.1 if you don't need a touch interface). It is a great printer, due to it being a clone of the well regarded Prusa i3. I've had the plus for about 9 months now and love it. It prints quite well straight out of the box, and there's a great community of owners on places like reddit and facebook to help with troubleshooting. There's also a multitude of mods of varying levels of difficulty which can make it an even better printer, if you want. It's also been rebadged by a few sellers so the Monoprice Maker select V2, Cocoo
  7. You use a game engine that's already available and has a wide range of support and help topics in place already, such as Unity or Unreal. Here's a good place to get started https://www.reddit.com/r/gamedev/wiki/getting_started
  8. I would say unless you have a degree in computer science, programming for games or another related subject you're going to find it nigh on impossible to even get started. Have you actually tried using a games engine to see just how complex they are
  9. This one, just a pretty generic one from Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/Intocircuit-26000mAh-External-Notebooks-Lightning/dp/B00AV4M1LQ I know I can buy the connectors separately and crimp them to a cable, I wanted to see if anyone had/knew a direct link to the exact cable I need or where to get one made, with proper moulded ends
  10. I have a battery bank which i used to use to charge my laptop. It has a standard DC output (5.5x2.1mm) It came with a cable that had interchangeable ends for different laptop power jacks, which I have since misplaced. Since I only need it to charge the one device I'm trying to find a cable with the right DC plugs on each end. My laptop is a dell which uses a 7.4x5.0mm DC plug. Does anyone know where I could find a cable, with a 5.5x2.1mm plug on one end and a 7.4x5.0mm plug on the other; or perhaps a website where I can get one made.
  11. Just got a replacement kit of RAM today and that has fixed the problem, thanks to everyone who posted suggestions
  12. I did try it with my Corsair TX750 from my old system when I was back at home, and the same thing happened(this was with the original MB), but I have now moved from home to Uni so don't have that PSU available, but I don't think thats the issue I don't have any other DDR4 ram. I did actually have a look at the supported RAM list and my Kit isn't listed, but i didn't think that would be an issue.
  13. I've recently bought all the parts for my new PC, and have tried to build it, but am having trouble in getting it to POST. There are no post beeps, the LEDs on the motherboard and fans turn on, the fans spin up and then everything shuts off after a few second. This will then endlessly loop until I turn off the power at the PSU. My specs are: Intel i7 6700K Gigabyte GA-Z170 Sniper Intel Z170 16GB (2x8GB) Corsair Vengeance 2400MHz LPX DDR4 Corsair RM650X PSU I am currently trying to post with the bare essentials, so only the RAM a
  14. Ask about access levels. So who should be allowed to access certain sections of the system and add/edit various records.
  15. I could of sworn I posted my comment as a new topic (unless I'm going crazy), I guess it was moved by a Mod? But I didn't get a notification of message that this was done. I don't understand why it was moved though, I guess the two posts are sort of related, but it is two different topics. One is about the concept of VR on rollercoasters, the other is VR actually being used on a new ride (which isn't even a rollercoaster). But regardless very cool use of VR
