It's decent but to get accurate measurements you need to check with a multimeter.

Also since you are based in India it has 0.99(PFC) power factor correction so you should be good even though it's a lower tier PSU.

My PC can not hold up for the switching time of my UPS.

What UPS are you using and is it powerful enough during battery backup where it won't overload it.

Corsair's lower-end offerings just have awful HUT. Even the CX, which is better then the VS, is criticized for poor hold-up time. http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Corsair/CX600M/11.html

Yea most of Corasir's lower end offerings aren't the best especially the CX for long term durability, for that price an XFX PSU would be better if it goes on sale.

One of the main reasons why even high end PSU's shut down when going to battery backup is usually because of the UPS's inverter creating a square sinewave where most PSU's will just shut down thinking its bad power it's receiving to protect itself.

Agreed. Corsair is too highly regarded

Actually in OP's case, the shutdown occurs when switching from battery to AC power. Which is why I'd assume HUT is the issue.

Microtek MDP800+ 800VA,

No overload just transfer time from Battery to Line issue
