I wasnt really sure where to put this since this isnt really about specific games pc or console, but gamers in general and what is it to make a true gamer, a true gamer. My opinion is much like his own. A gamer is just someone who is passionate about playing videogames. Gender doesnt play a role, or how hard of games you play. But this seems to be causing debates lately and the such. Not in this community because it is awesome. But on other pages of this infinite tubes of web. But my other opinion is, a gamer plays more than just one game, unless the game really is that fun for them, but if it is just a game they play...like farmville. I don't know if I would call that a gamer. I was just wondering other people opinions about gaming and what makes a gamer, a gamer?

Having an appreciation of any and all games without bias towards genre, platform, etc. Appreciate good games for what they are games. If its on pc great, if it's on console great, if it's in the N-Gage...wait did that platform have any good games? My buddy had it and hated the damn thing lol

Playing and enjoying a game. No matter if its *Shuders* angry birds or if its Dark souls. 

 

I feel though, to be a hardcore gamer you should have logged over 100 hours into atleast one game. For me, that game is. The legend of zelda wind waker. as a kid this game was the most difficult thing ever and STILL to this day, i havent beaten it. but i probably over the years have logged like 700 hours into it.

Well I guess that makes me not a real gamer cause when I played Skyrim on X360 I found it boring but when on PC I enjoy the game.
