STEELSERIES SUPPORT "for me" is terrible. HELP

Please Help me i have no idea what to do.

May 3 2013, i received my In Ear Flux Pro Headphones from steelseries. opening them up i realized that the 4th Pole on the 3.5mm jack would come out.

So i submitted a ticket.

May 14 i received an email saying sorry for the delay it was sent to IT admin by error by one of the support team member. He asked for address to send the              part and said it would be shipped with in a week. i gave the information and stated "no worries mistakes happen" the same day.

May 28th i replied saying mike what is going on nothing has been sent or received.

I messaged LInus about it and i was extremely grateful when he replied saying he would help me out.

May 30th he replied saying sorry shipping at the end of the day.

June 7th after receiving nothing i asked if there was something going on he said no just IT error.

July 16th Today, Just received the part in the mail..... they sent the wrong attachment they sent the split headphone mic and headphone instead of the                  clearly stated on May 3rd 4 pole 3.5 mm

I seriously appreciate this forum and your speedy reply, unfortunately i have no idea what to do. i Seriously think that waiting two and a half months for one small attachment is ridiculous, by any company. I really don't want to wait another 2 months.

Keep in mind i was extremely polite and the extent of my anger in messages was only saying that i was frustrated.

Is there any other way they can be contacted?

Any ideas?

Bad luck?

Please Help

Thanks Richard

Funny you say that, they were always great to me! Had problems with one of their headsets twice, and both times my defect headset was replaced quickly. That said, I sent my headsets to a warehouse in Denmark, so it might be different people handling your RMA.

As mucch as SteelSeries wants to promote their company, I'm amazed this had happened. My best guess would be to start over, contact the RMA department again and hopefully get someone new. Explain what happened also, that might get you some points with them!

wait wait wait...

WHAT is wrong with the jack? the FOURTH pole comes out?  The tip of the jack?  If so, how can you replace it with a simple part?  I'm lost.

Can't you just ask them to replace the whole thing?

"Pardon my French but this is just about the most ignorant blanket statement I've ever read. And though this is the internet, I'm not even exaggerating."

Mine was in perfect condition, though admittedly the product was not as good as their advertising would have me believe.

The thing I like about the Pros is they stay in my ears while I sleep. Audio quality is better than anything else I have, but I'm not much of an earbud guy.

I didn't like the way they fit in my ears, and they didn't stay in whilst I slept because I kept yanking them out due to the piercing highs.

The JBL J33s before them were smoother, and the Sennheiser IE60s following them makes me complacent.

I already bought a pair of shure's Se 215 way better sound but working and talking calls really appealed with the passive noise cancelling. I actually really liked the in ear flux pros that's why I'm so pissed.

I'm assuming there's nothing I can do but sit and twiddle my thumbs.
