So... here's where it gets a little confusing. I leave May 26th, but I have to finish a *quick* version of this build for some marketing purposes. SO the following photos are featuring my Rampage III Black Edition because I need a board that has RAM and Motherboard blocks, and it's still TBD what I'll be watercooling on the Rampage V Extreme. NOTE: THE FINAL BUILD WILL HAVE THE RAMPAGE V EXTREME AND HARD TUBING

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'm not entirely sold on this combo yet... the tube on the right will be straightened. The clear tubing will have blood red coolant flowing through it. I may switch it so red fittings have the clear tubing/red fluid and black fittings have black tubing. Or just go back to one color set. What do YOU guys think?

Update!

 

So first up I needed to block my GPUs of course! So much Nickel...

Shame there is so few full cover GPU blocks (yes, they are technically full cover, but they leave much of the card exposed), as they just looks a lot better.

I also which there was a version that you could get without the writing on it, as it tends to draw focus.

 

But back to the build.

 

It looks good, but I hope you dont plan on using black tubing, as that would ruin the point of the acrylic blocks.

 

Also, where can I find more info about the motherboard? Because it looks very good (specially the EK blocks), but need more info about it, to see if I can use it in my build.

Since there is so much black in the case and on the board, I think clear tubes/red fluid with black fittings would look best. IMO, the black tubing adds to much black to the build. 

 

This thing is looking epic thus far, can't wait to see the finished product..

This one specifically is an old Rampage III Black Edition... hard to find the board, let alone the blocks. This plexi version is actually one of a kind, but there are acetal versions around. Haven't decided what I'm doing for tubing yet, this was just experimenting.

Shame, as it looks better then most motherboards does with water blocks.

 

But I guess Rampage V Extreme with monoblock will look good as well.

 

If you are going for red liquid, try silver fittings, as they would not steal too much focus, but at the same time add an element of contrast.

Your opinion of what makes a good photo =/= everyone else's opinion look at the first photo sets in the build log, I have plenty of lights and know how to use them, I choose not to.

Look at all the shots of the motherboard installed, it's way too shadowy IMO, you lose a lot of detail in all that darkness
