What are you going to be doing to your PC in the future? For me, it's flip the PSU around (I cba to do it currently), change out the CPU and maybe a new motherboard.

New GPU, custom loop and better PSU.

Don't buy a GTX 980, it's overpriced! Buy 2 GTX 970s or 2 R9 290s intstead (the R9 290s would even be cheaper)

My plans involve saving up until I can build an X99 rig with a titan X and a custom glass tubing water cooling loop. (will have the loop made for me)

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

New GPU, and MAYBE plop an SSD in there.

- New SSD

- Second R9 290

- PETG tubing

- More radiators

- More RAM

- Changing the color scheme from gold/black/red to white/black/red

- Replacing Side panel window with tempered glass

- Modify the interior of my case so i can put a 420mm radiator in the front.

First up is moving to MATX and change the HAF932 for (most likely) a Node804.

Then i'll get 390(x) in CF if they perform right.

Later i'll watercool the rig.

Last but certainly not least i plan on an X99 update to Broadwell-E in 2016. *hope to see 8c at 400€*

For my primary build, the first thing is custom loop. That's all I have planned for this rig. Most of it is 4 years old, the rest is 2, so it'll be repurposed soon enough, hopefully.

 

For my secondary, I plan to upgrade the processor to an i5 (still heavily debating that, I love my G3258 :wub: ), upgrade the video card to something much better than my 650Ti Boost SC, and possibly upgrade the motherboard to something other than the PC Mate (although, I think it will serve fine, as I don't plan to SLI).

EDIT: And a 240+GB SSD for both!

1. Chances are they won't do a 1000 series
