Parfocal lenses (non-cinema lenses)

Are there any other parfocal lenses that are EF mount other than the 70-200 2.8L non-is (believe one of the UWA Tokina zooms is as well)? If not, are there parfocal lenses available that cover the aps-c sensor size and have mounts available to ef?

What is your budget? honestly parfocal lenses are rare and expensive and generally only on cine grade lenses, since parfocal is only needed when shooting video

Budget will be about 2-3k USD. From what I read the non-is is parfocal, but than again, a lot of that info isn't exactly available. I know that some older non-Canon lenses are parfocal, just dont know which ones specifically, i've had the luxury of using one on a set, but the lens was so old and beat up on the outside that I couldn't exactly figure out what it was.

 

I don't mind getting older lenses, don't mind if it's entire manual (would probably end up de-clicking the aperture). It just needs to have a mount adapter to EF.

Is parfocal that important to you? unless you are zooming mid shot its 100% pointless

And if you are zooming mid shot, that would imply there is likely someone doing the zooming. Have him pull focus too

I find myself doing slow zooming shots at larger apertures more frequently, so having a parfocal lens would be nice to have. Would make life just that much easier. Usually when i'm at f/8 or higher and zooming a small distance, it isn't a problem.

These are mostly for personal projects and stuff being shot for youtube (stopped shooting larger projects years ago), so the team is small (about 4 people) and inexperienced. I am the unfortunate soul who is pulling everything :rolleyes:. Going to have to teach someone how to use a follow foucs with a whip attached.
