Lol, Razer is shit? The Blade is the best portable gaming PC, lightest, thinnest, and most powerful for it's size. 

For it's size. Not price to performance though. Laptops just suck in general for gaming. They cost a fortune for a good one, they overheat and throttle, if they are powerful they are usually heavy and thick, and the battery life is garbage. If you need a laptop buy a relatively cheap one and get the horsepower in the desktop.

You pay for the extra stuff. They aren't gonna charge $5 extra for the 50% less weight.

No, the cooling is excellent. I was running AC3 and BF3 at the same time with no issues (alone with other side programs like Skype, Chrome, Spotify, etc.)

 

There's no such thing as "gaming laptop."

For it's size. Not price to performance though. Laptops just suck in general for gaming. They cost a fortune for a good one, they overheat and throttle, if they are powerful they are usually heavy and thick, and the battery life is garbage. If you need a laptop buy a relatively cheap one and get the horsepower in the desktop.

I haven't had my Blade over heating or the battery dying quickly. Only reason I have a Blade instead of a PC is portability...

This is like a Microsoft vs Apple thing now. Apple has the best phones overall and no one can argue with that. You guys just don't like Razer and Apple. Simple as that. 

Simple as my iphone 5 randomly shuts off restarts my clock and time don't load unresponsive siri is garbage random apps disappearing my screen peeled off battery sucks phone gets hot after 5 minutes 16 gb is stupid when the OS takes 8 of it oh and no micro sd when it's 2015!

if i had to chose it would be razer blad but you should get a custom made one because both of them are overprice go down to your local computer stor and say you have this much money and they will build it for you

This is like a Microsoft vs Apple thing now. Apple has the best phones overall and no one can argue with that. You guys just don't like Razer and Apple. Simple as that. 

I can most defiantly aegue that apple has the best phones..the iphones are crap...the hardware is decent..but the software is shit..and apple keeps locking them down to prevent mods

I'm leaving thread now. This has gone nowhere except a flame war between razer, apple, and building your own PC. Buy what you want I don't care. All I am saying is my experience with Apple has been bad for the past 10 years and there are better ways to spend your money. Oh, and I forgot to even state my opinion.  Yeah, I would go and buy some parts and build it instead.  It will save you a LOT of money and will be kind of nice because you will have something that is unique to yourself.  If you ever need help or anything building the system, there are tons of videos on YouTube and a wonderful ltt comunity to help you! Technically they aren't wrong. You do have 3 cards, each one with 4GB. They only don't mention SLI doesn't stack memory (yet).

And, by "build" a PC do you mean actually build a PC? Don't try to recommend that, I have no experience WHATSOEVER within PC hardware (though I find it interesting) and am definitely not certified to build one, as I was told I have to be.

 

 

As everyone else has said, build your own.

 

I'm the least tech-savvy person going, I'm utterly useless with technology, but last October I built my PC with no experience whatsoever.

 

Just follow a YouTube guide and consult your case/motherboard manual. Beyond this most basic builds are pretty much all the same, very plug-and-play.

You are getting major ripped off if you buy any of those 2 things. Everyone on here has built their own rig. I know 12 year olds who can do it, its that easy. I'm 15 and built my first computer with no help from anyone or anything apart from youtube. 3k is alot of money, and if you build it you will get better performance and money. Go for it man!

but when/if it does oh boy it will be a wonderful time to be in the glorious pc master race but 3 980s= about $1600 for 12gb just buy a titan
