Platinum vs Gold? Crossfire

Hello guys.
I was wondering if, the EVGA G2 850 Gold is enough for Asus R9 290x DirectCU OC Crossfire? 
Or do i have to buy the Corsair AX860 Platinum? 

It's a Gold vs Platinum.. I can spare some money, if i buy the EVGA..

EVGA G2 is excellent PSU. Efficiency doesent matter but the quality of the components is a lot more important. If PSU can deliver stable power, good protections, etc...

Platinum is better in terms of efficiency but regarding those two, they'll both be good for that video card.

Yes. That PSU is very good while considerably less expensive. Also you get 10 year warranty I believe.

The G2 is a great choice, there's also P2 if you want Platinum from them but like stated above it's not necessary and you'll be perfectly fine with Gold
