Yup, a 5-8 port unmanaged gigabit switch that's full duplex (99% are full duplex) will work perfect.

It's just a standard dumb switch, no setting to configure just plug in and play, the router does all the work automatically.

It doesn't matter what brand you use. I'd suggest getting one that's at least 8 ports. 10/100/1000. I'd also suggest getting one based on what you need, but also taking into consideration what you might add later on, So don't go buy a 4 port switch, if you plan to add more computers, or add a server.

Doesn't matter, but Netgear does have some pretty nice 5 or 8 port switches for $15-$25 USD.

Here you go, you can buy this switch: http://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-5-Port-Gigabit-Desktop-Switch/dp/B00QR6XFHQ/

TBH the five port switch is probably fine. If you ever do need more ports you can always go out and buy an 8 port one when you need it. Because they're damn cheap anyways. Odds are you'll still have somewhere to use the five port one especially if you're wiring up the whole house.
