Do you think this is fixable?

Should I buy it if i can get it for 50$

I wouldn't; especially when you can get a working used 7950 for $120.

When some soldering joints are broken you may can fit it with an oven. But I only give you 15% chance it works....

If its a solder reflow problem I would give him higher than 15% upto 50% if he does it right. The issue is that we don't know that that is the problem.

The only fix seems to be the oven, but that's not something that works most of the times...

There is alway the guy is stupid and it wasnt pluged in properly

 

You can buy working for literally the same price

I said if i can get it for 50$

Just try to know where FrozenCPU is and it will close the range.

Just don't even bother. The guy probably knows what he's doing and it's probably the core. Don't do it and save for something new.

Ah. Well I loved my Asus 7950, mine was the triple slot, didn't look closely but this may be the same card. Could handle 1.25 volts without getting toasty.

I seen them go for 80-100 on eBay, up to you If its worth the risk. Honestly wish you the best of luck to cut his price in half though
