Titan X SLI is better and has much more VRAM. It is ~2 times more expensive though.

Will try to look up some benchmarks for it.

Last I heard it just mirrored?

about 40% increase maybe. And you get a huge e-peen.

ok well if it's THAT much then i would actually consider it. i was just thinking though, another $1k just for like 10% or something that's not worth it. If i'm getting one though i'm getting 2. i need to fill a 900d so i definitely getting at least 2 cards.

Well 1 TITAN X is 40% more powerful than 1 980, so 2 TITAN X's are 40% more powerful than 2 980's :P What were you expecting?

It is. Each card has 12GB alone.

Isn't DX12 supposed to make it stack though? lol 24gb on graphics xD

DX 12 will make it possible for some games to have stacked VRAM IF they are specifically programmed for it individually.

oh ok. so pretty much in 5 years from now maybe sooner for AAA games but by then i'll have upgraded anyways and still wont need 24gb vram regardless lol.

It doesn't stack now, directx 11.2 isn't quite there yet.

However, the Titan X does have 12GB vram...

True, but really when will anyone on these forums max 12gb? unless you are running 3x true 4k monitors then it's highly unlikely the rumoured 980ti hits the nail on the head with 6gb :)
