CPU-i5 4690k 4.4ghz @ 1.190V, MOBO-MSI z97 gaming 3, Cooler-hyper 212 evo, GPU- r9 290x asus directcuII (-37Mv), Storage-120gb v300(switching soon), 1tb caviar blue, CASE-Red/black h440, PSU-Antec TPC 650.

What are you looking for in a keyboard? Do you prefer mechanical (cherry, if so what type?), topre, dome?

Do you want macro keys or LED lighting?

Do you want a tenkeyless?

Id like to try mechanical but tbh backlight is kinda a necessity, rubber domes are fine though. RED backlighting is a must to fit in with my colour scheme

Corsair K30 perhaps? The Cooler Master CM storm bundle comes in red as well.

I have decided on a m45 mouse from corsair, so no need for a bundle. Is the k30 of better build quality than the bundle that the CM storm keyboard comes in?

Yes, it's made of better materials. It also uses raised keycaps which make everything easy to clean.
