Linux isn't a Microsoft sponsored/developed OS.

 

I was talking about an OS that does. Of course Microsoft doesn't sponsor linux.

I had gotten a REALLY good one that was on its last legs before my seeing that post. 

IKR? I mean, srsly, how can you overclock an HDD? I am surprised that he knows what overclock means, but suckily, he don't know what can be damned overclocked and who can't. I bet you, you give him something to overclock, he gives you a hunk of burnt PCB after the OC.

You might be able to increase the RPM.

It's unlikely

The year is 20XX. Everyone plays Fox at TAS levels of perfection. Because of this, the winner of a match depends solely on port priority. The RPS metagame has evolved to ridiculous levels due to it being the only remaining factor to decide matches.

Only Abate, Axe, and Wobbles can save us.

I'm pretty sure that's not possible. Even the craziest OCers, like me, can't create software or find a way to OC a hard drive.

I find my parents are like that too. They will be on the computer for a few weeks then suddenly come in the room and  say something like

"I cant find the page I was looking at"  when they have simply opened a new tab

or "how do I log into my emails?" when they were literally reading their emails the day before

 

They seem too scared to do what they know/think is logical and get flustered if the answer isnt immediately obvious

 

As far as software goes they are afraid of clicking things or they might break it, yet my mum happily leaves the laptop ON and charging under a wool blanket for about 4 hours - I dont know how it didn't overheat

 

That reminds me, my uncle is afraid of breaking his PC all the time.  I had to stay at his house for 3-4 hours or something like that because he didn't want me to leave and the stupid HP recovery CD's took a lifetime to get everything setup(and they walk you through everything...not tough).  To add to that he's kind of my least favorite uncle...though with how often he called for my help I'm surprised I haven't heard from him in forever.  There were some choice words he threw at my brother some time ago when he randomly appeared at our house and instantly tried to talk politics.  I imagine that could be why, heck saves me the bother of being bothered by him.  At least my other uncle brings his problems here when he has a problem with some sort of electronics, granted he has a laptop.

I don;t think he will get that far, as he will either put the CPU ad such a high frequency that it does not boot and the n gets frustrated or he just messes something else up and ends up changing the boot order or memory timings.

@XtremeTechGaming told me the following today:

 

One time he was building a PC. Top of the line, GTX 780 and an i7 and whatnot. It just so happened that the timing of his build coincided with his tech-illiterate relatives visiting. His uncle took the PC WITHOUT HIS PERMISSION and brought it back to Texas for his six-year-old to play, guess, FUCKING FLASH GAMES ON A 780. XTremeTech said that the computer slowed down due to the family installing random shit, and they got so mad that they RIPPED THE 780TI out (without unscrewing or releasing the bracket on the slot) and BROKE THE FUCKING THING IN HALF. He said to me that he would never let them touch his technology again. I told him to get the system back, but apparently the illiterates got so mad at it they destroyed the entire thing.

 

A moment of silence was held for the system.

At least TAFE let's us use Firefox

Exactly. They also lock them down so you can't install anything on them or run an EXE file that wasn't already on it.

Nope. The only way is by using some weird Windows Explorer hack that removes the limitations.

OK this is a school not my home. For minecraft I don't need a passwords but still have my skin. And no Firefox. But yeah outdated mc be bad but better than none.
