Getting ssd for windows, wait for 10 or install 8.1 on it?

Right so I'm so annoyed with the performance of 3tb hardrive and decided to get the ssd but I'm not sure if It wouldn't be better if I waited for windows 10 because there is so much stuff to move and install and I don't want to do it again when 10 comes out. What should i do ?

The windows 10 update is free, so get windows 8.1 now and upgrade when it is released

Win 8.1 and then update to 10 when it's released. Nothing will be wiped! :D

No, I believe you have 3 options when upgrading,

 

1. keep programs and personal files

2. keep personal files

3. keep nothing
