And reasons?

Those are 2 different fields.

IT you are hand on suggesting computers to buy for a where you work (college, university, company, etc), provide technical support for software. For hardware you'll usually contact the manufacture to come and fix it (unless you work in that, then you drive around town fixing computers with parts given to you for each job). The only hardware you'll do is upgrades, which is usually RAM, or at best GPU. You'll do system imagining as well, and networking.

This is great if you like hands-on experience, and you enjoy helping people. It is true that many companies outsource the software support side of things. But it depends on the business. Tech companies, and more modern model companies understands the benefits of having onsite IT service and even a small team of developers for custom software solution to be able to maintain it, and always adapt it to better fit employees needs.

Computer engineer is pretty much only programming. You are coding, usually in C/C++ to develop a processor or circuit board. Why programming? Because everything is done through a simulator. Depending on your position and what you work on, you can work from anywhere building tests, to run on the simulated circuit, to implementing ideas and concepts from the research done and passing through very difficult problems to solve, to as you can guess, be part of the team that does research in trying to discover new ways to do things better, or do new things that could not be possible before due to simply technology limitation, no one thought about a solution, or cost as you found a better and cheaper way to do something that used to cost a lot.

it is a job you can get out of highschool while computer engineering is something you study for. They are VERY different from each other.

What is EE(also referred as EEE, Electrical and Electronic Engineering)

Programming+ hardware developing, loads simulations here as well, but if you go for the right uni and choose right modules than you will get loads practicals and you will have a great opportunity at job market, as there is shortage in EEEngineers (in UK

what about computer science.?

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

computer science is pretty much computer engineering minus a big degree that takes forever to finish

so its not as prestigious, but basically the same stuff

 

i think if you take computer science and want to continue studying you would go into computer engineering for more complex stuff

so its not as prestigious, but basically the same stuff

 

i think if you take computer science and want to continue studying you would go into computer engineering for more complex stuff

i was thinking i get a CS degree and start a certification course for BMI.

If I am not mistaken you can get jobs like Software Architect, Programmer etc with CS, but designing more intricate stuff for hardware manufactures you will need a CE degree?

yeah "engineering" is always more advanced than "science" degrees at universities

If you want to like your job, computer engineering. Be aware that it will take astronomical amounts of work to succeed at it though. Like zero time for socializing amounts of work. However, the payoff is massive and you get to brag about making awesome computer stuff forever.

Everyone wants to be in IT. Sounds fun fixing computers all day right? Sitting in a desk fixing the same problem everyday and having the noise of a full blast server in your ear while getting paid pennies. Computer Engineering would be a must go to.
