Instead they wanted two imbeciles who would be shit one way or another, at least the one that won the electoral college might be the least shittiest. I don't know, no one really can and it's pathetic the other side doesn't want to give the guy a chance. Is he already failing some of his promises such as getting new blood or less corrupt blood into Washington or in his words "Draining the Swamp"? Yeah. Has some of his early cabinet appointments meant uncertainty for womens' reproductive rights and for national LGBT rights? Yeah. However at the end of the day, what's the chance that womens' reproductive rights and national LGBT rights are actually threatened? Maybe 20% to 30% which isn't great but looking at it optimistically there's an 80% to 70% chance that nothing with happen to those things.

 

Adding a little more, Trump has said some terrible things, so has Hillary and they've both said stuff that I'm sure they won't do nearly a quarter of the things they said they might've wanted to have done.

You probably won't agree with me here, but there were some things that kinda turned me off from Bernie. I guess "free college education" and its context turned me off too much.

 

The way I see it, Hillary would've been part 3 of the Obama administration but in a more extreme fashion.

We'll see how Trump handles the presidency. I don't think LGBT and women's rights will be threatened at all. He's from New York City, and that's a city well-known for being liberal.

Yeah, I agree the premise and the way many people took that idea was kinda wrong. I mean making college way cheaper through more government subsidies  or even treated more like public education and being funded by the government like K-12 education is the ideal in my opinion but I can understand why many people would believe that the government shouldn't fund that. Either because they don't believe that the government should really fund that or what I think I've head was that they don't believe/want their tax dollars going to fund that. Similar story for universal health care, many people don't want that a thing either largely because they don't believe their tax dollars should be going to fund that.

Which I mean if the government was able to do those things with barely touching the tax brackets or adding new ones above where brackets end could really help offset the cost and getting rid of government waste in the form of bureaucracy (which I think there's a way you can reduce bureaucracy while doing more for the people.)

 

I thought that as well, I thought Hillary would be an extension of Obama's administration. Though potentially more eager to go to war with a particular super power for reasons I don't really understand. I think it's just because she's not happy the people who leaked DNC emails and her emails might've been sponsored by Russia? Literally could've been any country or group. 

 

Further, I think largely why the democrats want to blame Russia and not say if those emails were legitimate or not sort of prove that those emails are real and that the DNC had imparity towards the candidates.

Well. I agree with some but not all. He's a right wing conservative (one of the alt right to be precise). I'm a bleeding classical liberal. Although I agree with him that a lot of liberals and leftists succumbed to identity politics, SJWs, and political correctness. Those liberals who has succumbed to identity politics, SJW and political correctness is what we call the Regressive Left.

 

Extremism of both the right (Alt-Right) and the left (Regressive Left) are equally dangerous and breeds potentially fatal ideologies.

What concerns me more is Mike Pence. Trump is not a true conservative. He's more of a populist who says whatever he wants and basically would achieve nothing. Pence on the other hand is a true, right wing conservative Christian who wants:

 

1. Creationism be taught as science in public schools

2. Defund Planned Parenthood 

3. Repeal SCOTUS decision to make same sex marriage legal in all states

4. Proposed a legislation to allow businesses to refuse services to LGBTQ.

5. He sees America as a Christian nation even though the founding fathers made sure that religion and state are separated.

 

I can't believe I'm saying this but Trump is probably a progressive republican. He even said that he won't repeal the Affordable Care Act, but more likely to ammend some parts of it. Although his decision to give huge tax breaks for the wealthy is not going to work. It has been proven with eight years of George W. Bush that tax breaks to the wealthy results to budget deficit, which is one of the reasons why America went into recession.

HRC saw that free college isn't sustainable that's why she advocated for debt free college instead. I know what you're saying, there's no way to pay for college professors with triple PhDs and buy state of the art facilities for students with a full government subsidized college.

If you have an Android phone, make sure it's running Android 6.0 Marshmallow and above because they've enabled full disk encryption by default. To make sure it's enabled, go to Settings then Security and find encryption.

I was pretty sure 5.0 supports encryption too, though not enabled by default. I've considered running encryption on my device, though am not sure how heavily it will impact the speed of my G2 as the snapdragon 800 lacks hardware encryption.

I think so. I used to own a LG G3 with Snapdragon 801 and boy, it's slow after encryption. The phones from 2015 I think now have SoCs with hardware encryption so the performance impact is low.

 

Same goes for PCs and Macs. I thnk pre-2013 Intel CPU, they don't have crypto accelerator that's why enabling FileVault or BitLocker will cause huge performance penalties. Unlike today, enabling FDE will just result a tiny performance hit.
