1.) The longer she sits on this and tries to do her way of adjusting is only going to make things worse for me at home with her.

I think if you force the issue she's more likely to react badly. I really think you're pushing her to do just what you're afraid of her doing.

Forcing her to understand something is the only way shes been able to understand most of the things that have happened with me. While it did end up with her not talking to me for a week or so, she was able to at least understand.

Today I took her out for breakfast and sat down with her trying to explain that, not everyone is perfect, that not everyone can follow the same path you want them too. Everyone needs to be their own person, they need to be an individual with their own ideas thoughts and lifestyle. I tried explaining that trying to form someone into what you think they need to be they will resist and do everything in their power to not be that way. 

She ended up walking out and said that I was crazy trying to have an idea like that.

If you're anxious about potentially being made homeless you have to deal with that issue separately from the other stuff. The other stuff may never ever make sense to her. She'll probably take her religious beliefs to the grave, there's probably nothing you can do about that. :0/
