From there, unless you can get the tesla job (which I'd assume would allow you to live on your own), see if you are able to transfer your credit to another school as soon as possible. A friend of mine is planning to do this to go from the local engineering school (which is kinda poo) to Cornell. That way you'll be able to continue your education while also moving away from home.

if you miss the Tesla opportunity and are looking for an environment for personal growth to help you figure out your life, and help you establish a firm foothold, you may even consider military or peace corps; both environments not only are phenomenal for learning your limits and establishing good (well more in the peace corps side) for others, they both have programs that can pay the majority of your collegiate costs once your term of service is over.  

 

My career area is information security (programming/analytics) for a major US financial - and either program on a persons resume usually means an instant-in to the company.

I think I have a decent future ahead of me, I just need certification for it all. I can repair stuff that even professionals will not touch, I have built my own 3D printer and already know how to use autodesk inventor (I have a student license for it) heck, I previously worked in an IT position last year

Inventor is nice. I just wish more places used it. (2 years experience in school plus my own projects wich I never followed up on.)

The little school I grew up in in canton south dakota used it in their brand new CAD lab, which also had a $25,000 3D printer, CNC laser cutter, CNC plasma cutter, CNC milling machine, and a whole load of other fun shit. I absolutely loved it, I took all of the available PLTW classes there

and the school im still currently in is using core 2 duo macs.

and we have a project based on photoshop..

I gotta say you are kinda lucky knowing all that. I'm finishing up a college Networking course and right now iv'e passed everything but one little thing. Unfortunately that 1 thing was the key to getting into the work experience. So now i'm basically screwed... $5k down the drain and pissin mad parents when ever they find out.... Everything else iv'e done really well on but without this I really have no future for the next few years due to how the job market seems to be....

My instructor was the best I could have ever asked for. He is an old pilot (owns an old tailorcraft) and made the classes the most fun and enjoyable ones I have ever seen. We made up jokes such as PLTW stood for "Please lick the windows"

 

He was always blaming 3 legged goats for issues, so the 3 legged goat became our "class mascot"

 

I created a sign that said PLTW - Its Window Lickin' Good with the KFC sign with a goat face on it

 

 

Damn, do I miss my school back in canton :'(

Hey it's been awhile!

Just wondering cuz it came up in conversation with a good friend who's a lesbian - how many kids, if any, do you guys think you'd like to have? I had never found a lesbian so passionate about wanting literally all the kids before and I'm wondering how y'all's attitudes are to it?

I sort of agree with iamdarkyoshi, but I guess if my future hubby wanted to adopt and raise a kid I wouldn't protest to it, I don't think it'd be such a bad thing but I do think it would be something needing a lot of consideration

 

Edit: To more directly answer the question, probably one if any. As someone who is an only child I kind of think that siblings are overrated.

Siblings are 100% overrated

and no.. I don't think that raising a child is easy.. I'm living with a baby and what my grandma does is insane just to take care of the baby. My parents do jack shit.

I Should write a biography of what's it's like to live with a psyco mom, never home dad, a nice caring grandma that does evey Thing even though her husband died recently and a ungreatful bitch that's failing in school and social life.. And a stupid ass sister. 

I'm being too blunt about that..

there are no benefits to having a sibling as far as I can tell. They just break your shit, compete for attention and are annoying.
