Ryzen 7 7800 x3D

I notice performance issues like less frames on my games , whenever start my pc for the first in the day but I  enable auto overclocking my own pc restarts and my frames are good . But I would always have to go through that process . I was wondering if my pc could start up like that with me having to restart and reenable it ?

If you're on the latest BIOS, the latest chipset driver and stock settings, you're getting like 99% of the performance possible out of that chip. You shouldn't be noticing any issues at defaults, again assuming everything is up to date.

Are you using Ryzen Master or another program for this Auto OC? Do you understand what its doing or what changes its making? Generally x3D chips dont have any OC wiggle room, its moreso about changing the power tables a bit and undervolting.

 

Auto OC programs are generally dishonest, and sometimes can cause instability issues on their own.

How are you overclocking?

 

7800x3d is kind of tweaked out if the box and doesn't require or really allow any OC.   PBO/ CO just allows voltage and temp tweaks.

You could try overclocking in the BIOS. It should automatically apply the values you set in ryzen master every time you boot up. Just make sure your motherboard supports overlocking. 

Have you tried turning it off and on again? Maybe Restart it?
