sorry that i respond this late.

I talked to a friend about your problem and he pointed out that due to your OC it is probably the CPU that is dead. (Your Voltage might have killed it or damaged it.)

it falls within warrenty as far as I know on unlocked Intel CPU`s. RMA the CPU and just don`t tell them you overclocked it.

EDIT:

I looked  it up in the manual for my I5 4670K and it says OC doesn`t fall under the warranty. Don`t tell them you have overclocked it, or anything related to overclocking. If they find out it was overclocked, you have to live with it.

This doesn't seem like the issue

1) how can 1.215 volts kill a CPU with a really good cooler

2) in this case the motherboard doesn't even attempt to post

It would stop at 79 the last time for a few times

But now it wouldn't even attempt to post

Usually when I press the start button a few Q-LEDs will come on and it will say something at least like 00 or an error with the CPU

Over here I'm not even getting that

3) the motherboard doesn't even light up its on board LEDs and doesn't light up my peripherals like it usually does

4) why does the CPU work sometimes with the problem sometimes

But doesn't even attempt to initialize at others?

Thanks for your help!
