First off, i'd like to thank you personally Linus for pushing out such great content. I have always wanted a better computer but never knew what or how to do any of it, until I discovered your channel about two years ago that is... It is amazing that you have come so far, from reviewing trusty 'ol kid's toys to a 100TB server setup/rundown! And even with my personal favorites, ahh, good 'ol table (or bench) in front of that NICX building... Now you have grown and so has your content... I have always wanted to build my PC from scratch ever since I had seen your first build log, because it interested me. Unfortunately, I have yet to do so because I have never had the money to do any of it. I am a Battlefield player (Battlefield 3, and Battlefield 4) and my PC is NOT up to par to play either of these games but I do it because I have hope that one day I can wake up and play whatever game I want on max settings (or close to) and have a smooth game! But that will probably never be soon, since my pc specs are as followed: AMD Athlon II, Nvida GeForce GT 630 (which I bought because I thought it would automagically run everything on max... Nope...) and 4GB of DDR2 ram.. My PC specs are pretty pitiful... Anyways, enough of me rambling on about that...

Linus, I have never built my own PC before and have always wanted to since I see how much fun it is to build. Sure, it's a lot of work, but the outcome is (mostly) spectacular. I hope to never stop watching your channel, whether it be on Vessel or YouTube.

Thanks Linus for inspiring me so much, and don't ever stop inspiring others.

Recently one of my friends has shown interest in the game Elite Dangerous. After watching this video review, i've decided that this piece of hardware will provide the best experience for games like Elite Dangerous and No Mans Sky (when that comes out on pc) and will not be purchasing any flight sim until I get this flight controller.

As a server administrator, i've personally been exposed to and even used enterprise grade hardware. I enjoyed this video simply because of the sheer power behind the hardware.

Does anyone think its possible to use a seperate CPU to make a custom sli bridge so you could run say 750ti in sli almost like raid.

So far, I must say I find Vessel to be quite lacking in many respects, but I'm confident they will get arround to fixing most issues fairly soon.

Also I absolutely agree with the following post:

WAIT HOLD UP. WE DONT WANT LINUS'S PERSONAL PC. The case has a lot of meaning to him guys. It was a gift from his wife. I believe it was the first gift from her too.

EDIT: Thanks for all the likes guys! Hopefully Linus or someone from LMG will read this and this will make Linus keep his build. Even if the goal of 100k is made we should convince Linus to do another build maybe, with signatures from the whole LMG family and maybe even his wife. This would let Linus keep the build he has with the special case his wife gave him. Besides, his personal PC would be more special to him than us.

 

I don't feel like linus' personal rig would have a lot of meaning to most people (including me), whilst I'm sure it does for him. Please keep it, I'd feel bad if you gave it away, I'm sure you can come up with something else if necessary.
