Need an adaptor for a mic

So, I have this random old mic, and I think it uses a 6mm connector, but I'm not sure. I need to get it to play nice with a 3.5mm jack, so I guess you can see my problem. The pic shows it compared to the jack on my trusty and awesome HTC earbuds (standard 3.5mm). If someone could possibly identify it from that, I'd love it.

You can get a 6mm female to 3.5mm male AV cable, for like $5 on Amazon.

I do know that connector, I know some higher end music equipment use it (such as big piano keyboards)

Connectors from 3.5mm to that are pretty common, I have a few laying around here but I'm not even sure if connector exist from that to 3.5mm or USB or anything you can use.

You just need a 1/4 inch to 1/8 inch adapter which you can get for cheap at radioshack.

All the RadioShacks around me are closed for good.

 

So you need 6.3 mm to 3.5 mm adapter?

That is a 1/4 (6.3mm) jack.

Also, where did you find an old school MTV mic?! Lol

My mom and stepdad found it at a yard sale lol

 

I would get mono 6.3mm to mono 3.5mm . If you want to combine speakers and mic in same connector (that 3.5mm with 4 strips) you will then need this.

 

I found this and I'm thinking about getting it since I have barely enough money on tap.

You need a mono 1/4" to 3.5mm adapter. Get the pigtail ones that are like a small cable. Don't get the full Metal ones. They will eventually snap off in your socket and you won't be able to get it out.
