knowing what an i7 4790 is puts you in the top 10% of tech intelligence.

anyways they are low TDP and/or low power usage processors.

People really don't have a clue about tech sometimes, it's actually surprising. My dad paid 6000$ for a 4TB *shudders* thunderbolt raid array. one of my teachers asked me why the USB keyboard on her school PC didn't work, and it was becuase she had somehow jammed the USB connector into an Ethernet port. And that's a minority. Geeks have a lot more power than they realize.

I've seen a usb cable being plugged into an old serial port, the connector is like 4 times bigger than usb ...
