Those are regular Microcenter prices.

You also get $40 off if you buy an Intel i3 4370, i5 4690K, i7 4790K, or 5820K with a compatible motherboard.

Or alternatively you get the same $40 off if you buy most any of the FX lineup or the select few A-series lineup with a compatible motherboard.

With that pricing, X99 looks so appealing...

Sig under construction.

Wow. If DDR4 didn't cost so much that'd be a pretty compelling reason to go to X99 I have to say since on most websites the 4790K is $300.

4790k is 279.99USD which is 358CAD. 4790k in Canada is around 410, 460 after taxes. I guess its a bit cheaper. Not worth the hassle unless your real tight on your budget.

Change your store location to Microcenter Web Store, that's how you order online with them.

Notice how the Add to Cart option is faded out and unclickable.

Also notice how if you proceed through the Add to Cart options on any of the other locations it asks you to pick a shipping option.....of which there is one.

Damn you are right my bad. Was so hope full that someone would be able to order one of these online.

Don't worry about it, but trust me if these deals have been around for a long time, and they have, people would always order from Microcenter if they were available online.

And the reason they aren't available online is that Microcenter relies on their sales reps convincing customers to buy everything for their build from them.

I mean if they mark up the processors this much less than other retailers they have to make money somehow.

How do you convince someone to go to a brick & mortar store, so that your sales reps can talk them into buying other stuff, rather than save time by ordering it through an E-tailer.

You heavily discount one of the most important parts and make the discount in-store only.

Is it just the Paterson NJ store or does every store have that ONE guy who knows everything there is to know, and everyone else is kind of a moron?
