Motherboard clearly labeled

Is the msi z77a-g45 clearly labeled for the psu cables? Also how do I know which psu cable is which? Is there any wire that can be mixed up with another?

When building the computer and installing the PSU cables, it should be fairly simple to spot the power inputs. One is a 24-pin input and the other is an 8 pin input.

I think the best thing for you to do is just watch a build guide on youtube (by linus) and go through it step by step.

not but two PSU connections: 24-pin and 8-pin. they are keyed and will only

install one-way. really can mix 'em up, just make sure they are firmly seated

in their respective connections on the motherboard.

Modular PSUs have labelled which cable goes to where. As for mobo side, the manual has diagram with all connectors labelled.

I was just having fun :) Because its comparable to the MOBO connectors. You can't really make a mistake. Only one that can confuse you is EPS (CPU power) and PCI-E (GPU power) connectors which look similar. But the PCI-E connector usually have a second connector on them meaning 8+8 pin. Get back to us if you gonna need help :)
