Sounds like a Metallica album. Subbing! :)

What makes this project most appealing is its lower end hardware. You don't need top end gear all the time, you can mod anything to make it your own and hopefully this thread only encourages others to have a go!

Correct!! I hope that this project provides inspiration for budding modders just to take a look at the inside of their PC - whatever their hardware - and do something special and personal to their rig! :)

Sounds like a Metallica album. Subbing! :)

Cheers buddy! I hope that you enjoy the rest of the project :)

Hey guys and girls!!

I would like to continue this build log with showing most of the parts which I have collected so far, with the rest pf them shown later on. This project would probably not have happened without the help of my sponsors Inet, Gigabyte, OCZ, SilverStone, Cryorig and Raijintek, so thank you once again! Intermittent updates will appear with these parts over the next few days, then we get to the nitty gritty action!

If you have a decent DSLR this kind of photography is dead simple.

Nice looking cooler that, should go well with the case. Also, that lattice design for the back of the cooler looks incredible. I wish more manufacturers would take an artistic approach to design like that.

I need to learn how to take great pictures like this, any camera recommendations?

Most any SLR camera will get the job done but the most important factor in photography is lighting. I use a full bay window, and a reflector on the opposite of the subject to give even light from both sides. :)

Oh boy does that cooler look good.

:) Cheers!! I have some more hardware porn coming to you guys tonight ;)

This SFX PSU SX600-G has been entrusted to me by Marie at SilverStone. Too much power for this rig, but if I ever upgrade my GPU to something more power hungry, then I have it covered :)

It is sooooo tiny!! The cables are the PP05-E super flexible, all black short cable kit. http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=438

Eww iPhone :o

Nice build though :D

That phone has been thrown out since I took those photos. I did upgrade to Iphone 6 though :P

Wow, that's a really cool power supply! Too bad it's $130 :(

It is expensive, but the power packed into this little footprint is definitely something to be reckoned with.

Thank you to Inet and OCZ who have provided an OCZ ARC100 240GB SSD to this project!

Daniel at Inet has been really supportive with helping me by contacting OCZ and acquiring a sample of OCZ's legendary ARC100 SSD, which have been tested to run at least 5times their rated limit. Also, the build quality of this SSD is solid featuring an all aluminium chassis.

That is a pretty ssd.

Would match my system.

If I ever get an ssd, it might be that one.

For now, I'll go ssdless

Now that SSD looks nice! the blue colour on it looks really clean and bright, far better than the boring design on my MX100.

A powerpacket of a discrete graphics card, the EVGA GTX750Ti 2GB ITX looks the part, and fits perfectly (literally - physically!). Not to mention it is powered by the PCIE lane, so there is less cable clutter helping the aesthetics of the project!

I want so bad to do a build log, but I'd have no idea on how to go about getting sponsored. No way could I afford to do a build log on my own, so sponsors would be a must. Regardless, looks awesome so far! Do you plan on OCing the CPU any (sorry if this has been answered already, I didn't read every single post, just skimmed through the updates).
