Hello everyone, as you all may notice this might probably be my first post on Linus Tech tips forum

i have been trying to look for helps where someone could suggest which motherboard is best for me.

technically, the motherboards that i'm going to list later on are actually some budget motherboard which i can get in "Singapore"

and i only have the budget for them. purpose that i'm going to use on is gaming as usual everyone does that.

1 thing you probably might wanna take note before reading the rest of the stuff below !

- Prices from the motherboard are not from Newegg, Amazon, any others popular sites in the US/Canada

so i'm going to list out the games i played and maybe a little details as well

- due to a guy like me who is suffering from motion sickness, i can't play any others FPS or RPG like dragon nest, and stuff like that.

and i don't plan on playing FPS - Shooting ( CS.go , battle field and stuff )

Maplestory - game settings probably doesn't matter much.

League - i use low-end game settings -> No shadow, no environment, low character effect / skill effect

Dota 2 - probably the same as league

Hearthstone

- Streaming (Optional) might do this if its even possible on my so-called build in progress rig.

Motherboard listed down here are bundled with the CPU: Intel Pentium G3258 "Anniversary Edition"

and Government service taxes is added to the pricing too.

- yeah very ridiculous prices singapore has when it comes to building a Gaming Rig when your trying to save more budget.

# ASUS H81M-K - Price : $165
# ASUS H81M-D PLUS - Price : $191
# ASUS H81-Gamer Edition - Price : $238

ASROCK H81M-DGS - Price : $171
ASROCK B85M-PRO4 - Price : $218

---------------------------------------------------------------

from above listed : $443.00 in total

---------------------------------------------------------------

GPU : Have no idea yet. trying to keep my budget to a limit so give me a hit.
Motherboard : looking for help with it :)

Budget range : 700 ~ 850 ish.

this rig might looks similar to http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/281756-ultimate-value-gaming-build-guide/

but sadly there is no ASUS Z97-C in Singapore retail shops.

I apologize if this is the wrong place to post it but i have no idea where else i can find helps rather than linus forum. since im following half of his value gaming build.

and heres a list of affordable graphic cards. ( expect sapphire R7-260X )

Sapphire R7-260X OC 1GB DDR5............ 168*
Sapphire R7-260X 2GB DDR5............ 172*

Gigabyte GV-N630-1GI GT630 1GB DDR3 PCI-E ........... $94.00

Rest can be found here : http://pastebin.com/aSZTXY3T- its mini-huge list.

i doubt that i need a very expensive GPU just to play those Low-end games.

thanks for reading and i hope you could help me with this.

-snip-

Id get the Gigabyte GA-B85M-DS3H and a GTX 750ti. The G3258 that you selected is a great chip. If not the 750ti, I'd get at least a 270/X or a GTX960.

My arsenal: i7-9700k Gaming Rig, an iPhone, and Stupidity.

Dont getb the gt630 is is reallybad at gaming

PC is Intel Core i5 6400, GIgabyte H170 Gaming 3, Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x4GB 2400Mhz ,Sandisk Ultra Plus 128GB, WD Blue 1TB, NZXT S340, ASUS Geforce GTX 960. Fractal Design Tesla R2 650W. http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/793XNG. Graphics card choices don't always have to be dictated on performance. If you want the game stream and power consumption of the GTX 970 get that. If you want raw performance of the R9 390 get that. In the end we are all gamers, so what if your buddy gets an extra 5 fps?
