BEATS SOUND GOOD.

Im tired of hearing how much beats suck, they don't they sound good.

I have the studio 2 and the audio technica ATH-M50 And they sound almost the same.

Now don't get me wrong i did not pay full price for the beats. and the ,50's sound better but not as much as people are saying.

And the beats have noise canceling.

Thank you.

I tried my brothers beats, god they're uncomfortable and they sound meh for the price. Depends on what music you listen to I guess. beats in my opinion are just a fashion statement.

*grabs popcorn*

That's just an opinion. Some people dont like their music to be drown out by bass

And I just don;t like the feeling of the beats  on my ears

I tried them last week in a store and I was actually surprised how good they actually sound. But I never tried other "good" "high end" "bla bla" headphones so I cant compare.

For that price tag, ATH, AKG, Bose, B&O, Sennheiser, Sony and others have much better headphones. Beats is more of a fashion statement. :)

Nah M8. Good friend of mine got new beats for Christmas and they sounded like utter shit. He was glad they included the receipt in the box, he returned them after two days for a pair of ATH M50, Velour Pads and an AMP/DAC

He used my M50RD's and Velour pads with a mutual friend's AMP/DAC at a LAN.

The M50s blow them out of the water M8

New gen beats got good reviews, even from those who hate gen 1 originally. I think it's when Apple dipped their toes in it, things started to change.

Probably it's because they dont need to spend as much money for ads. But for $300 i could always get used westone 4R which will sound and isolate heaps better than beats

This. New series supposedly isn't terribad like the originals, but they're still kinda overpriced.
