No please dont download those piece of shit programs it will only throw a shitload of ads,extensions,toolbars and other bullcrap.

if youre worried about youre pc being slow then run a virus scan mate.

I use that AVG TuneUp thing. It works for me at least. I like how I can do lots of stuff to the windows without spending too much time scouring for the options within control panel etc. Generally though, I can't recommend any other type of software.

I've got a friend who swears by Tune Up Utilities and always has it running. I find it does indeed help for a month or two but after that it starts making things worse.

He generally reformats every 6 months, I can have an install for a year or more without issue.

AVG Tuneup the best. After all the basic OS tweak. This is the software you want to maintain the OS.

CCleaner is nice, but if you want other option you can try Disk Cleanup and Disk Defragmenter.
