I wanna know what games are really fun to mod and play. I have not played any elder scrolls games pre-oblivon but I don't find them appealing to me. I also have never tried a fallout game. I have been told about fallout numerous times but I don't know where to start. List any games and the best mods for those games. Any help is appreciated.

Edit: I'm not a big fan of minecraft. I am also aware of all source games.

Minecraft is extremely fun to mod. Gmod is pretty much a game all about mods and can run on almost anything as long as you have a recent dual core and 4GB of RAM. Oh, and in order to run graphics mods on skryim which is another awesome game to mod you should have some beefy hardware.

Eric S. Raymond used an E6600 from 2005 until 12/30/14 or open source software creation. Raw data computations in excess of 18GB each. Core 2 Duos still have tons of life left, my friend.

Well I may of just modded every game that has the ability of modding. If anyone has any experience in the fallout modding scene please recommend which fallout game I should buy and what mods I should get.

Qoute people so they are notified of your answer.

Surprisingly: Mario Kart Wii and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Forgot about quoting people I'm moving so fast.

How would I mod those games, Is it emulators or console?

Either one.

It's easy to 'mod' a Wii into making it read data off SD cards and actually use that data.

I have not done any modding inside the Wii emulator (Dolphin), but I know it is possible.

If you want to look into the possibilities just look up some videos on Mario Kart Wii Custom Tracks, Project M for Super Smash Bros. and TAS videos for Mario Kart Wii.

Fallout 3 and New Vegas are very similar, and who's the better of the two is based on preference. Not really any definitive answer from the community.

Personally I think you should just look at them and see which setting you like better.

I guess you could check out Killing Floor, that's a pretty modifiable game from what I've seen.

Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. They have the best modding community out there. I don't think you can disagree with that. Also check out the Stalker series, they also have a great modding community. Elder Scrolls games mainly Skyrim also have very strong modding resources.

This seems new. Gonna try this out as I believe at some point I installed some home brew onto my wii and it was pretty easy.

Thanks for the help.
