I took 4 years of Spanish and I remember nothing about Spanish.  I know more Japanese from just watching anime than I know Spanish.

I guess, I also speak Swedish and Norwegian, since they are somewhat similar to Danish.

I can also speak some common polite phrases in Mandarin and Japanese, and I can understand Japanese.

First language: Finnish

 

Second language: English. Started learning in school when I was 9 years old, and used it pretty much daily ever since.

 

"Third language": Swedish. I started learning it at around 13 years of age. Funny how it's our second "official" language but we start learning it later than English... lol. Even though I've been learning it for 4 years as of now, I can only understand very little of it. No real motivation in learning it, so that won't change.

 

Trying to learn (and have only small understanding of): Japanese. Currently about half of my time in Swedish classes go for trying to understand Swedish and failing at it, and the other half goes for trying to learn Japanese on my own (and it's already going more well than Swedish for me)... :lol:

 

Looking to learn (or at least understand): Coding languages, possibly Russian, people (how does one understand people?)...

I can also speak a bit o' french, studied 3 years during highschool, I undertand portuguese and italian... Although every time i try talking in those languajes my brain switches to french i I get blocked.
