i am wondering why LTT forum uses this google search if they have hidden search option of their own?

its hidden because its hardly works, and google search works way better right now

like if you did a google search, you would of known this, but if you did a LTT search, it probably would not of shown any of these previous threads. Ironic

Because the hidden search bar sucks.

The search function is currently hidden because it has been causing some issues with the server. We will re-enable it once the issues have been resolved, but until then we would appreciate it if you could use the Google search box provided rather than using the inbuilt forum search.

Because there is something wrong with built in search and LMG has no web designer who understands the code perfectly to fix it.

Google Search is far more powerful, it grabs even recently posted threads and since you can organize by date posted, it can be fairly helpful in keeping down repost clutter. I wouldn't even be mad if you guys kept that from here on out.

Its funny that you have answered this with title already. Forum uses Google search because own is hidden (and got many topics complaining).
